You can learn from things going wrong as well as things going right. CAG (Mary Anderson, Tim Maiden, Bill Kirkup and Emma Jones) have been working with Power to Change which has been supporting innovative post-subsidy business models for community energy businesses through their Next Generation programme. We’ve developed a set of new case studies on five projects that didn’t quite work out as planned, but which generated considerable learning along the way. These provide invaluable learning for other community businesses considering similar approaches.
