Climate ACTION STRATEGIES
CAG has over 20 years experience working with local authorities and other organisations to develop effective and socially-just responses to the threat of climate change.
We can draw on the skills, knowledge and resources of our partners – ranging from data collection and analysis to stakeholder mapping and engagement – to support organisations in the development of their climate emergency or net zero action plans which are designed to engage citizens and communities and accelerate change.
Current and recent projects include:
- Climate action strategy development for local authorities including Lewisham and Kensington & Chelsea
- Local Pathways to Net Zero – councillor workbook for the LGA
- Development of a Local Authority Climate Action Cobenefits Toolkit for the climate action charity Ashden
- Research for the National Lottery Community Fund to investigate the environmental impact (including carbon emissions) of their grant making with recommendations for reducing negative impacts

Retrofit and energy efficiency cuts costs, carbon emissions and fuel poverty whilst also contributing to greater energy security.
