Just Transition & the Green Economy
CAG have a team of highly skilled and experienced economists who provide a range of green economic and just transition services.
Green Economy Strategy development
CAG assist local partners with developing strategies and tools to enhance the performance of local economies to benefit the people and businesses living and working there.
Our approach to economic strategy development starts with a thorough understanding of how the local economy functions and its asset base. We then look at local partners’ ambitions and vision for their local economy and develop a series of realistic steps to move them towards their ambition.
We work across the range of economic development tools, sometimes collaborating with specialist partners.
Current and recent projects include:
- Green economy masterplanning tool for Torfaen Council
- Low carbon economy routemap for Winchester City Council
