Todmorden is a market town in the Upper Calder Valley, West Yorkshire and is one of the 101 towns across the UK that was chosen by the government to submit a bid for up to £25 million worth of investment funding from their Towns Fund programme.

Rhona helped the Todmorden Town Deal Board as part of the development of the Town Investment Plan for Todmorden by facilitating 2 online sessions in January 2021 for the Board to present the projects that had provisionally been selected for inclusion in the plan.  Around 170 people attended, with some great questions, offers of help and interest from many in being involved in a Citizens’ Assembly to help shape the projects moving forward if the funding is secured. Rhona wrote a report including all the contributions from the 2 sessions and responses given.  These can be seen at:

Feedback from the client team was extremely positive “This is excellent, the perfect document to pull out the Q&A for the website…Thanks for your time on this. There are a number of comments directed at your quality facilitation and we have had others mentioned in emails and verbally, so once again on behalf of our team thank you so much for helping to make it run so smoothly on the day/night.”
