As part of CAG’s work evaluating the Next Generation programme for community energy, funded by Power to Change, we’re helping to organise a virtual workshop on Monday 9th November for Community Energy practitioners. This will run from 1-4pm, jointly hosted by Community Energy England and the Next Generation programme. We’re calling it the ‘Conference of Practitioners’ – the aim is to create a space where practitioners can hear learning from current projects (within and outside the Next Gen programme) and talk about the hurdles and opportunities associated with emerging post-FITs business models for community energy.
There will be short presentations on emerging business models for onshore wind/energy services, domestic roof-top solar, EV chargepoints and heat pumps, plus opportunities for discussion with a range of practitioners and specialists in each topic area. You can attend the whole 3-hour session or specific topics.
