Dumfries & Galloway Climate Change Risk Assessment
Call for Local Evidence
What is the research about?
The Dumfries and Galloway climate change risk assessment will be used to inform future adaptation action to help the region become more resilient to climate change impacts such as sea level rise, flooding and changing temperatures.
It is essential that future adaptation planning is informed by the best evidence base possible, and this necessitates the use of data held by a range of local and regional bodies, including Local Authorities, health trusts, regeneration and economic partnerships. Your organisations know your local area better than anyone and hold a lot of data regarding the local economy, society, environment, infrastructure and geography.
CAG Consultants are supporting Dumfries and Galloway to prepare this climate risk assessment. As part of our research, will be accessing publicly available evidence (such as the PBRD and FRM plans for the region), but not all relevant information is in the public domain.
Contribute to Our Climate Knowledge Base
We invite local and regional organisations to share their data and insights to enhance our climate change risk assessment. This evidence will be used to identify risks and opportunities that the region may experience arising from climate change and what systems and plans are in place to respond to these risks and opportunities.
Please submit your evidence via email to ag@cagconsult.co.uk or click the link below
